Pastor's Corner

Because of God’s great grace and because of the love of so many of the God’s people we have been carried through this last month.  We all share the loss of Pastor Patricia and will miss her so greatly. She has been such a pillar in the church and in the lives of so many of us. Our memories are precious and happy and a great source of comfort.  Thank you to everyone for your prayers, your love, your cards, flowers and gifts, and your help with all the special needs.

 I know that Pastor Pat could not go until she knew that we would all be okay.  We are more than okay because of her faithfulness and wisdom which prepared us for what lies ahead.  The Foundation she and Pastor Doug set for Christ the Rock is Strong and Sure.

They believed and stood upon the Word of God, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  (I Cor. 3:12)  The strength of our Foundation has been tested many ways and still stands sure.  We can go forward confident of this and thankful for these precious people who went before us to help make a way for the Lord in our lives.

June is graduation time!  For those graduating from High School and college we want you to know how proud we are of you.  We look forward to celebrating this special time in your lives and know that the Lord holds great things for each of you.

 June brings Father’s Day as well.  Make special plans to honor dad as a family and come to our special Father’s Day service as well.  Let your father know how much he is loved and appreciated.  It will bless him and you as well.
